Our lake has been classified as SFI (Special Forestry Interest) by the Ministry of the Environment. With this new status, we can no longer obtain stocking permits until further notice. Therefore, if you agree, donations received for stocking will be donated to the Fishermen's Fund and will be used to subsidize one or more of the following initiatives:

• Have the walleye breeding area checked and characterized

• Assess the status of the walleye population

• Assess the status of the lake trout population

• Find Lake Trout Breeding Areas

• Update oxygen and temperature profiles

• Have an inventory of the entire fish community in the lake made

• Restoring degraded banks

• Collect your members' fishing statistics

• ​Maintain the existing temporary lake level monitoring station and help the development of a permanent solution

The committee will decide where and how the money will be spent.
