Best practices

Ice Safety: Always check the thickness of the ice before venturing out.

Access: The lake is public, but some access points may pass through private land.
-
Environmental Protection: The Grand Lac Rond Association encourages the preservation of shorelines and natural habitats.
-
Fish consumption: In general, Quebec fish are safe to eat, but it is recommended to limit the consumption of large predators (such as pike) due to mercury levels.
